Elevating Exposure to Opportunities:
Empowering Futures, Bridging Gaps
Talent Youth Center
At the Talent Youth Center (TYC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2007, we focus on closing the college and career readiness gap in inner-city and rural areas.
We provide comprehensive trades programs in partnership with Interplay, where students gain licenses in various trades through augmented reality experiences, receive OSHA certification, and benefit from job placement assistance.
Additionally, our virtual reality (VR) college tours bring universities directly to students, overcoming barriers of travel and cost.
According to Scholastic, 40% of high school dropouts recognize their likelihood of dropping out as early as 5th grade due to a disconnect between classroom learning and real-life applications. Our programs bridge this gap, offering early exposure to career readiness for students from elementary school through adulthood.
Together, we empower the next generation of leaders and skilled professionals.
